Documentary Showing – Lives Well Lived – November 30
November 30, 2023 @ 2:00 pm
Covenant Living of the Great Lakes is proud to be able to offer a showing of Sky Bergman’s “Lives Well Lived”. Weaving together the personal journeys of 40 people, age 75 to 100, the film reveals the lessons learned over 3,000 years of collective life experience. Plus, view a short video of Covenant Living residents sharing how our Assisted Living has helped them live well. RSVP today and hear more on how to “live well”.
This event will be held in the Fellowship Hall.
Twenty-five years ago, Covenant Living of the Great Lakes began with a vision—one that has grown into a thriving community for older adults.
Now, as we break ground on our new Cottage Homes, we celebrate a continuation of that legacy. Resident pioneers John and Barbara Alkema, who attended the original groundbreaking in 1999, were there with our President & CEO, David Erickson, to mark this new beginning—a wonderful moment honoring the past while looking toward the future.
Thank you to all who make our community so special. Here’s to the next chapter in Covenant Living of the Great Lakes’ journey!

Last week marked an exciting new chapter for Covenant Living of the Great Lakes with the groundbreaking of our new Cottage Homes!
This addition of 36 two-bedroom homes, a neighborhood park, and walking path brings beautiful, spacious living options to our community. We were joined by Covenant leaders, future residents, and community partners to celebrate the ceremonious turning of the dirt!
We’re grateful to share this milestone with all who have supported our mission, and we look forward to welcoming new neighbors as our community grows.
